Fortunately for me, this arrived on the hottest day of summer. The inner dress has smooth and cool texture, the outer robes are floaty and diaphanous. Even when worn all together it is slightly see through, so it would be advisable to wear another layer underneath. The colours are slightly different than pictured- instead of grey, the beizi is a bright sea green and the dress a minty sea foam (even more beautiful, in my opinion).
I am 158cm and ordered a medium. The outer dress just about touches the top of my feet (which is correct), but the inner dress is much shorter than anticipated, reaching my lower calf when it should be ankle length. This, I think is due to the some of ties being too high, reducing the length by about 5cm. Also, the beizi is much shorter than advertised, it is only 104cm (should be 116), but it is hardly noticeable.
Overall, this hanfu has a very comfortable and relaxed feel to it, making it ideal for lounging around home or walking around in public gardens; by the sea; the river, lakeside or anywhere beautiful. It is so light that on a windy day it streams...
