I got Style D (black/silver top, black/gold skirt) and it is soo beautiful!

Ready-to-wear right out of the box. Both fabrics have a lovely pattern on them, instead of being solid black. And the skirt's pattern is embroidered, which I didn't expect! The embroidered details (both the top's silver, and the skirt's gold) use metallic thread.

One thing I was concerned about was the fabric quality + texture. However, I found that it was a great quality! The skirt's fabric is not lightweight or cheap, but heavy in a very satisfying way -- it hangs and swishes around very elegantly. The fabric is obviously polyester to the touch (slight scratchiness), but it is a higher-quality that looks and feels very nice to wear. I haven't worn the top yet, so I can't give details about it, but its fabric seems similar to the skirt. I primarily ordered this set for the skirt, and am incredibly happy with it!

It also came with a free gift: a black wooden hairpin, and a small sheet of temporary huadian tattoos. This was a simple but thoughtful addition to the order. :)

I also want to comment on the packaging, as this was my first order from NewHanfu. The entire outfit was packaged with great care -- each piece was separately bagged and folded, and even had little jasmine satchets to offset that fresh-from-production smell (and it worked! they smelled great). I ordered internationally, and the package arrived in excellent shape -- the box with the items was bubble-wrapped externally, and then the outermost bag was secured with tape to keep all of the edges from tearing in transit. As an American, this was more packaging than I'm used to -- however, it was incredibly obvious that it had been done with great care and concern for the product, so that it would arrive in pristine condition. And it did! I really appreciated this attention to detail.

Very happy with my first NewHanfu order! Hope to get more in the future. :)
